Allow 3 hours return trip from central Queenstown reservations shop.

We operate 7 days a week and operate throughout the day. Select your preferred day and see the available times.

We operate two Cessna Grand Caravan aircraft – “the Supervan 900”.

Our plane can hold up to 9 customers at once so it is possible to be on the same plane as your friends. This is dependent on many factors and we will do our best to keep groups together.

Nothing much!  So long as you have foot wear that won’t fall off, and an appropriate amount of clothing depending on the season.  In Winter, we do recommend that multiple layers are more suitable than one large jacket.

You can expect to have an overwhelming feeling of fear, joy, satisfaction and adrenaline for your first time skydiving! In saying this, freefall truely is an indescribable sensation and has to be experienced to understand wholly. In terms of clothing, make sure you are warm, comfortable and wearing enclosed tie-up shoes, we provide you with a full jumpsuit, gloves, hat and goggles. Our highly trained tandem masters and crew will provide you with a full safety brief and guide you through the whole experience from start to finish; you can find out more here!

Yes you can wear your prescription glasses whilst skydiving. We have goggles that will fit over your glasses

Yes!  But we do suggest bringing your contact solution just in case your lenses dry out

Skydiving is a very weather dependent adventure activity; we always recommend the best time to go skydiving is at the start of your trip. This allows the opportunity for movement and avoidance of disappointment if your original booking is unable to go ahead due to weather. In terms of the time of day, mornings are always a great time to see Queenstown from above.

Our meeting point is our Skydive Centre in the middle of town in Queenstown (35 Shotover St). From there we will take you to and from the Dropzone where you skydive. This is included in the price.

Providing we have enough space in our buses we can take spectators for free.  This won’t be guaranteed and only available at the time of the trip. They are welcome to drive themselves to watch though and we can provide directions. This is limited to one spectator per customer and we cannot allow spectators on the last trip of the day.

Skydiving is a very weather dependent activity so sometimes we won’t be able to jump.  We will try our best to re-arrange your trip to the next time slot that suits and is available. For this reason, we advise you to book your skydive on the first available time slot in your holiday and keep a back-up day free. If you cannot re-arrange to another trip, you will be refunded in full from wherever you paid originally.

Unfortunately, personal cameras and Go Pro’s are prohibited from being on board the aircraft due to safety and insurance reasons. All of our equipment has to be checked properly due to the extreme nature of skydiving. However, you can take photos on the ground while getting ready and we do offer a professional skydive photographer that is able to jump with you and take photos/video during your skydive.

Yes you can, but you will still need to check in at the NZONE Skydive Centre for the briefing and then we will give you directions.

Unfortunately, we do not offer life insurance, although you are covered for medical treatment while in New Zealand under the Accident Compensation Commission. However, some companies will insure you to tandem skydive and you need to check this with your travel insurance company directly.

If you are unsure if an existing medical condition or injury will affect your skydive, please consult with your doctor for advice. We are unable to advise on medical issues.

Yes if you have a B – License. You will need to be current (have jumped recently) and have a valid log book. You are required to register with the NZPIA (Our Local Parachute Body) prior to jumping and will need to meet prior to jumping with one of our Senior Team to be signed off and assessed.

Sports jump subject to availability.

The first jump costs $45. Please enquire on reservations@nzoneskydive.co.nz

If you’d like to learn how to skydive and to get your skydiving licence, please contact the Auckland Skydive School.
