PARTNERSHIPS THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Skydive NZONE is proud to partner with Love Queenstown and the Whakatipu Reforestation Trust to support local environmental initiatives.

By adding a $10 donation to your booking, you’re helping fund native revegetation efforts across the Queenstown-Lakes, with every donation supporting the planting of one native tree.

The funds collected through this initiative will directly contribute to local reforestation efforts, aiding in the recovery of native flora and creating habitats for wildlife. By partnering with Love Queenstown and the Whakatipu Reforestation Trust, Skydive NZONE is actively supporting sustainable tourism and demonstrating how adventure activities can positively impact the local environment.

Where does my donation go?
Your donation goes directly to Love Queenstown, a local giving platform that raises funds and awareness for environmental efforts across the Queenstown-Lakes region. The funds we raise will contribute towards native revegetation efforts via the Whakatipu Reforestation Trust – a local charity dedicated to restoring native plants and biodiversity in the Whakatipu basin.

Who manages the donations?
Love Queenstown collates these donations before passing them onto the Whakatipu Reforestation Trust. Every $10 donation funds one native tree.

How do I know my money is making a difference?
We receive an annual donation summary from Love Queenstown, which provides details on how the funds were used and the impact we collectively made. This information will also be shared with you via our communication channels.

Can I choose which project my donation supports?
Our donations are directed specifically towards the Wakatipu Reforestation Trust to maximise impact through focused efforts. This ensures that your contribution supports local reforestation and biodiversity initiatives.

Is my donation tax-deductible?
The donations made through our booking process are not tax-deductible for individuals, as they are pooled and managed by our community fund partner. However, they are being put to great use to ensure a sustainable future for our environment.

What is the Whakatipu Reforestation Trust?
The Whakatipu Reforestation Trust is a local charity dedicated to restoring native plants and biodiversity in the Wakatipu region. They work on various planting projects to regenerate natural habitats, improve air quality, and promote local wildlife.

How often are donations transferred to Love Queenstown?
The donations are collected through our booking system and transferred to Love Queenstown on a quarterly basis, ensuring a consistent flow of funds for ongoing environmental projects.
